General My Cinq Failed The Mot :(

took my cinq to the MOT place today. the first thing the mechanic asked was if i had a decat n warned me that it would probably fail due to the twin 3" DTM exhaust but suprisingly it passed and was very good.

For some reason my headlights were pointin down 2 much and the mechanic got the driver side correct but the passenger side 1s still out as me and the mechanic cudnt get it right. i tried the adjusters and takin it out but no joy?

has ne 1 got ne ideas cuz i need it fixed asap cuz the MOT runs out soon.

try wedgin summat under the light just for the MOT or give him some cash on the side lol

You can't fix the adjusters if they are broken. If they are gone then you will need a whole new unit

you can jam a little bit of wood in, on top of the back of the bulb.

You can indeed, but you'll need to make sure the beam is level with the passenger's side one - or it's whittling time!

failure on adjusters means it's a good time to buy a new headlight fitting. I snapped one up at a scrappers for a tenner. It's a grey 899cc one but it passed my MOT so i don't care

anyone know where i can get one with an electronic adjuster in it for my sporting?

scrapper or motor factors, a new one should be £40 or so.

Fiat quoted me £79 for a new Sporting lamp so I got a 899 one for £25 from a scrappers.

Headlights and other Cinq stuff here but delivery is steep.
