Technical My Cinq Died!!!

Im sooo annoyed.
Was going thru northants town centre and changed gear as usual. Then the gear stick went loose. Tried to change gear again and managed to get into first but the gear stick went loose again. Couldnt get it out of gear. So theres me stuck on a hill and cant change gear. Luckily my gf came to the rescue else i would of been on my own waiting for the AA.
Turns out the gear selecter cable has snapped or something.
Argh!!

cable didnt think there was a cable for gears, sound like a linkage bar has popped off, is it fixed now?

Had the AA out who said it was the gear selecter cable, dunno if they are right, its in the garage at the moment awaiting repair for monday

usally there are little rods under the bonnet that conect gear leaver to gearbox, they are ball an socket conected to each other, some times the socket pops off the ball, you just have to pop it back on.

centos do use cables yes as i was told one of my cables may be stretched and i could change it and it may help on getting into reverse but it might not and with 2 cables at £20 each i aint going to mess
