General Multiplugs/Wiring Question

Hi,

I know this is a trivial question, But I just wondered if anyone on here could satisfy my curiosity...

I own a 2000 1.6 Brava 100sx. A few weeks ago I was giving the inside a good clean and was trying to get the slots on the coin holder clean, The one on the centre console between the gear lever and handbrake. Well after trying to clean them out with a cotton bud and failing, I decided to try and get the holder off so I could wash it under the tap. So I prised it off and noticed there was some wiring and a couple of multiplugs in there that were not connected to anything.

I dont have a haynes manual or anything, I just wondered if anyone knew what they might be for? I did wonder if it was something to do with multichangers or heated seats.

They are for electric mirrors.
To put it simply.

It seems a strange place to put the switches for mirrors though doesn't it. Every other car i've been in they've been actually on or near the doors.

Ah well, We all know Fiat like to do things a bit differently.

my alfa also has the front and rear foglight switches there. i quite like it.
