Technical Multipla Spare Tyre Winch

ok, so the spare tyre carrier failed acouple of weeks ago, couldn't wind the cable back in.

So, I found on available in a scrap yard, it arrived this morning and I noticed that the cable on this one is also wound all the way out. I tried turning the bolt to wind the cable in by hand but it doesn't seem to be moving much.

Before I put a spanner to it when I get home, does anyone know which way it's supposed to turn to wind the cable in? clockwise or anticlockwise/

I really don't want to shred the gears in the damn thing.....

Cant help you with this as my never worked!!
Would the car handbook answer this question?? My guess would be clockwise to wind it back up but check car handbook

To be honest I'd just junk the damn thing!
A spare you get from a scrappy is unlikely to have much life left in it, if any.
Find someone with a welder and do this with it...

I have found it s best to tale these off ur self I Keely spare in the boot maybe that is worth a punt as carryer a commen fault

I have an original Multiplayer spare wheel winch stored away somewhere!
