Hi On a 2000 Multipla we have a knocking from the rear suspension, I replaced the nearside swing arm and still have the knocking. There is play in the bushes at the front of the rear subframe where the subframe mounts to the floor. The bush is not available from Fiat as a seperate item and you have to buy the whole rear subframe for £570+vat + fitting. Has anyone had a similar problem and found a solution. There used to be a similar problem with Mk1 Puntos and Fiat made a cone that fitted over the old bush. There does not appear to be a similar fix from Fiat for the Multipla. Any ideas would be gratefuly received. thanks

hi Justin wilson
can you post a pic of the bush ?
they may be similar enough to other makes to use a different one.
ie. is it 'bolt through' or a 'sandwhich' type bush
is the bush broken , or just too sponge now?
if broken you may be able to rebond it.
regards

hi guys,
the next logicle step would be to scour the web for bushes that 'looked' the same , then check dimentions,
some spares are similar across different makes
ie.... vauxhall 1900 engine, rover anti roll bar bushes.

hi guys,
looking at the 'new' ones..................
do they squash up when bolted in place?
is the metal collar where it is loose?...
looks like a collar in the bush where it sits in the subframe.........
tightening the bolts may be enough to stop 'free play' .
regards
don
