More bad design from Fiat I'm afraid:

Our radio began to switch itself off now and then and sometimes would not work at all.
After lots of messing around, I pulled it out and it rattled!
Turns out that a coin (5p piece) had been put in to the coin holder and slipped out the back - nice! and fell in to the ventilation slots on the radio and got inside - marvellous.

Radio was a write off, no point in arguing with the dealer - they can't recognise huge faults on the car so no hope with this and the replacement radio was a rip off price wise.

Bought a stereo (DIN standard) only to find that the Fiat radio is non-standard. Bought an adaptor from a third party then needed a power/speaker adaptor and an aerial adaptor to make it all work.

Moral of this story is be careful what coins are put in the coin holder. fiat couldn't even get that right.

It isn't a Fiat fault!...
Multipla juke-box works in Euro cents |)... and if you put in it 5p... [xx(] you will have that problems... :D

If UK was in Euro land, your radio was OK! [^]

Have you understood now?... ;)

Ciao :)

Roberto

P.s.
It's a joke... excuse me!!...
I hope your Multipla works better in future... it's an eccentric car, but very very nice, versatile and useful... :)
