Tuning Multipla JTD with Marea JTD gearbox ?

I came across a video on youtube claiming that a milti JTD fitted with a Marea JTD gearbox can reach 200kmph.

Can anyone confirm this or is it just wishful thinking??

The gearbox is not going to make much difference to the top speed. It would change acceleration charachteristics because of different ratios, but unless the multipla gearing is so low that it's red-lining at moderate speed it's not going to improve it.

If the speedo drive comes off of the gearbox(?), there's a fair chance it wouldn't give a correct reading anyway. The rev counter's reading like it's much higher geared than standard though, if that's anything to go by (i'd have to think that one through!).
