Technical Multijet Cambelt change?

Just a couple of things I was thinking about earlier, does anyone know when the camblet is due for a change on a 1.9 Multijet HGT? I take it they change it when it's due for a service and they think it needs doing?

Also another thign I've been wandering about is what's the average mileage a clutch should last for on these engines?

hi there dont know exact detaisl on teh diesel but on petrol version belive its 60k or 5 years when dealer changes it automactically at the service time.allthough people in the know on here reccomend a earlier change.

as for clutch i dontknow sorry in theory shold last 100k+ i would expect

My Fiat AfterCare Service Book indicates the cam belt is changed after 5 years/72K miles. It *should* be included in the standard 72K miles service, but my advice is to make sure it is.

The clutch on my last Punto was replaced at about 95,000 miles.
