Technical Motormanagement problems sporting

I've had some problems with my sporting (2001) for the last four months. At first the engine stottered (English? hmm..) just a bit while accelerating. It feels like the engine doesn't ignite for a second. Especially when driving a roundabout the car judders a lot when accelerating. The problem disappears at higher revs. Gradually the problem worsened and the motormanagementwarninglight (nice scrabble word )flashed. My dealer concluded that it had to be the lambda sensor, so they replaced it. The problem was solved for a few weeks, but now the problem has returned. Does anybody have an idea what causes this problem? Is it maybe my girlfriend (she drives the car like a diesel, max. 3500 revs)?

well dont really know about yoru problem but loved that girlfriend comment hope she dont read ya post, and to be honest i drive liek a diesel alot as you put it. very really over 3500 unless sticking foot down hard away from lights. have heard that lamda sensor mentioned alot on this forum i think its a common problem. hope you find out whats causing it.
