Technical MOT & Windscreen squirter

My mot needs doing in a few weeks, does anyone know if they fail you for not having them windscreen squirter things working? I've got no idea whats wrong with it cause it works with the bonnet up but not when its down.

If it works with the bonnet up the rubber piping is prob being trapped when u close the bonnet so have a look if it needs tucking away.

No prob pal i think its worth sorting cus it might be an mot failure but im not sure. Should be easy to sort too cus it must be kinked if it works with the bonnet up.

Just had a quick look around and i'm pretty sure its a fail if the front ones aren't working. Hoping it wont be too challenging to sort cause i'm not very good at this sort of stuff.

it is an MOT failure, but to be honest, some testers don't even bother checking, mine wasn't checked last MOT, should fix it anyway mind!

I was hoping they might just forget, it not as if its a major problem. Do need it fixing tho, don't enjoy treving down the motorway not being able to see owt.

if it fails again, you cant beat a good ol bottle of diluted fairy liquid to spray out ya winda!

not only is it a MOT fail but also its ilegle to drive with out it working

It near enough sorted now, theres some valve thingy that joins the pipe together thats knackered, just need to nip the scrappy and it'll be job done.

non return valve, very cheap from most factors and garages, wouldn't bother goin down the scrappy for it mate
