Another Running of the ever popular Monmouth Meet,

Sunday 17th April , @10:30 meet - "Old Ross Road"

Jo's Cafe on the A40 , Whitchurch @ 3 miles North of Monmouth,
adjacent to "Symonds Yat" junction

Driving for @40 Minutes through the Forest to meet up and chat ,
at a large off-road parking area.

Could meet in Faringdon, use the road from here to Carterton and Burford, then join A40 there.
Or from here, A417 all the way to Cirencester, then onto Gloucester.

pretty sure that's the route I go home via the old bridge.. be nice to do it the other way
( nearly put "in reverse" - think I'd get tired of the gearbox whine)

Yeah I never been down that way over the old Bridge but I know the road from there back upto Coleford well. ?

Good place to meet at Burford, just off the roundabout A40/A361.
Approaching on the A40, turn left at the roundabout, (A361 Lechlade)
150 yds on right, large lay-by, usually a burger van there weekdays, no idea about weekends, but should be plenty of space.
WARNING! Beware of being overtaken while turning right into the lay-by.

Google Maps says 1hr-5mins to 1hr-15mins from Burford to the cafe. So meet 9am, ish, at the Burford lay-by?

last year the bridge at Gloucester was SHUT =@ 40 minute detour..,
Luckily I set off early

aiming to leave Burford at 9 sounds fine,
obviously if the listed attendees are all there at quarter to , then that's when we leave

It's my wedding anniversary weekend. We've not planned anything yet, and I doubt Mrs Deeyup will want to go to a Fiat meet, but if we aren't doing anything I'll come. Be nice to finally meet some of you.
