Hi all,

My front exhaust with the catalytic convertor seams to have deteriorated and detached where it joins the rest of the exhaust. I got a stainless steel exhaust from the flexible joint all the way back to the silencer fitted around 9 months ago however the cat has now gone.

I want to keep the car standard how it came out the factory, can anyone recommend where is best to get this replaced? I usually take it to Fiat but I know that it will cost a fortune to replace there.

If anyone knows the make of the Cat fitted in the factory for the 1.2 16v 80BHP that would be much appreciated.

Without the rest of the exhaust connected it sounds like a 1970's rally car, sounds great! :D(y)

Cheers,
Steven.

Just done the same to daughters 2004 1.2 16v 80bhp £105 all in inc manifold gasket and fixing kit inc new nuts for the studs make sure you buy the correct 1 8v's are different - the exhaust port orientation is totally different (did youngests cat/exhaust [2001 1.2] a month ago so I know!)
