Technical Mk2 Punto Engine Change

Hi All,
I was wondering if anyone could tell me the ins and outs of changing engines from my 1.2 8v into a 1.2 16v or even the 1.8.
Where could i get one of these engines from firstly and are the engine mounts the same? What about the driveshafts aswell? Obviously il need to upgrade the brakes so how easy is it to convert to all round discs from drums at the back. Also is there any other engines that slip straight into the engine bay?

Its not worth the hassle mate you have to change the ecu and wireing i think. better of selling the car you have and getting one with the engine you wont in it already.

yup, cos youd have to change the suspension and brakes and countless other bits too, you'd never be able to sell it. would you buy a 1.2 8v with a 16v 1.8 stuck in? i wouldn't (unless of course it was still 1.2 for tax and insurance purpouses)
