General MK2 Brakes. Help!

Could anyone tell me what type of brake system the mk2 1.2 8v brakes are. ie Bendix etc

AFAIK, The Mk 2 can be one of two types: I think it is either Bosch or Bendix. Depends what they fitted to that particular car.
