Styling mk2 3door centre console question

hi guys,
i have the mk2 sporting, but obviously there are several different versions of mk2s. and ive seen different centre consoles. question is, will they all fit the same way.

reason i ask is becuase i want to get antoher to install a screen in. however, i do not wish to mess up the console thats already fitted.

Yes, they all fit.

HGT/Sportings have different handbrake surrounds to lower spec models.

They also have a different gear gaitor surround.

oh ok, i did notice that actually, so i pressume that means cutting the the sporting one off just past the gear surround? or have i got it all wrong? i suppose the best thing for me to do is to go to a breakers yard and have a look
