Hi guys, as above, I read the guide and gonna do it myself.

2 questions:

1. What type antifreeze to mix with water?( T-reg)
2. How much water the system holds? (To work out ratio)

It would have been built with the old blue coolant in mind..

If its cheaper.. go for it

But the modern OAT coolant should be ok

Why not:

Dump the old coolant

Measure how much straight tap water you need to refill (and bleed) the system

Run it up to temperature.. then dump that

You will now know the required volume...
Its been a while but 2.5 litres sounds about right..
So a 1 litre pot of concentrate should be

2. How much water the system holds?

My handbook gives the total capacity for the cooling system as 4.6 litres.

However, some will always be left inside after draining so you won't need quite that much to refill.
