General mk1 scudo load space

Hi All,

have been thinking about getting a van with a bit of load space for building stuff. don't want to get anything huge and was thinking a mk1 scudo JTD would be just right. what is the load space in the old scudo's ?. If one could take 8' x 4' sheets of stuff the odd time it would be perfect..

Fiat say it will take 2 euro pallets so it should be quite near to 8 foot in length

No you will not fit an 8 x 4 sheet in the back of a scudo because you neither the height or width.

It fails on length (oo err missus...)

You can slide them in on their long edge but can't (quite) shut the doors - when the sheets are standing in the middle that is....

I regularily carry plasterboard sheets, 6' x 3' will go in no problem but 8' x 4' stick out of the rear doors by 2', no problem I just tie the doors together with a piece of rope. You can just fit 4' high sheets in.
