Styling mk1 punto gear knob

ive tried many ways but i still cant get the damn thing off

i'm tempted to just cut it off

any advice greatly appreciated

Yep just cut it all off just below the gear knob and put a nice aftermarket one on it.

I just cut mine to bits with a hacksaw, so as not to damage the stick, just kept chopping bits off. Apperently they do pull off .... I not that muscley tho

i no wat you mean i attempted to pull it off but apparentley theyve got a metal clasp,,

im gna hav a go at hacking it to bitz lol

nothing to do with what gear its in just yanking the gear stick cant be gud for the car!

Stop all the fussy fannying and get chopping!
I used a stanley knife (Be very careful putting all that pressure, fingers..) and a hacksaw
