Technical MK1 60S Timing Belt Change Issues

Hi guys,

We're trying to change the timing belt on my MK1 60S; we've followed the visual guides, but we're getting violent backfires when we try to start her up... any ideas?

did you put this back on right

pin must be in hole

We did... what we DIDN'T do was to put the timing belt sensor back in place before we tried to start 'er up! D'OH!
