I have a Cinq Abarth Sporting,on the way home tonight it decided to run on 3 cylinders.
I whipped out the plugs and checked them for a spark, but one was duff,no spark, i've changed that plug for a new one and its was the same,i then tried a new lead with it and it was still not sparking.
Does anybody have any idea's.......Coil pack maybe.

Thanks

Defo running on 3,no spark, any idea how much a new one will cost?

that happened to mine, it turned out to be ignition coil, cost £15 second hand for the pimary one:)

Primary? There is no primary,just 2 twin-output ignition coils, 1 supplies 1 and 4 the other 2 and 3.

How do you mean one plug was duff? would maybe be better to change all 4 in one go.

Could be a dodgy lead, have you got a spare to check it with?

Failing that, is it using oil / water or have they become intimate? Head gasket faults aren't uncommon.

Changed plug for a known worker, fitted new lead and double checked it with another, not using oil or water, ita a bit of a mystery, still it is a Fiat i suppose ;)

Thanks guys, i fitted a new coil pack and she's fine again (y)

Another happy customer!lol
