Cheers for the positive comments guys - here's a peek at the wolf in sheep's clothing bit!

This is the result of 15 years of Mini ownership .. It took four years to complete from a bare shell.

Will post some more pics soon.

Thanks for the kind comments guys.

Good point on the coilovers Ivan, considered having them but didn't fancy beam axle and modifying rear arches to take springs. Could have used offset coilovers but these are fragile in use.
The choice was to keep the subbie, use competition cones and save unsprung weight using the alloy radius arms/hubs and disc setup.

All seems to work o.k but only covered 100 ish miles so far!

i have taken up the challenge of doing a mini now, its not mine though but helping a mate rebuild his 1275gt clubman. Its not gonna be as nice as yours mind. We have so far finished all the welding (including fully seam welded floor pan), currently detailing the sub frames and prepping for paint. Will try get some pics up if you like sure i have some on a camera somewhere.

are the Minis easy to work on? obviously with the excellent use of space things could be pretty tight? i've got another BMC classic, MGB GT. so easy and rewarding to work on, parts are easily available too which is pretty good :) want a mini, but MGB is more appealing at the moment, RWD and nice looks, nice interior too lol.

mini has to be the easiest car to work on in the world, they are so simple. like a cinqcento but without any electronic gubbins. I'm not a big fan of the MG-B personally, the early ones look nice but i'd much rather a triumph spitfire. Hat off to anyone who keeps a classic on the road tough (y)

BEAUTIFUL CAR!!
had 2 cars featured in mini mag 1 was a 2000 mile 1990 cooper RSP the other was a 5000 mile 96 sprite, made into a retro mini cooper look alike
