When my car is running and in neutral with foot of the gas it continues to rev like crazy on its own!
its doin' my head in, any1 got any ideas what the prob is and how to sort it?

when u say rev.how many revs does it go up 2.

all over the place... from 2000 up to 4000

could be an inlet air leak at manifold/or associated hoses.rpm sensor at fault.blocked injector.air fillter or plugs changed recently?incorrect mixture,black box should look after that though.does it run ok when on the move?

when left to idell,see if you can feel any air being sucked in around the back of the inlet manifold or around the injection system.you may also hear it.
