General Melting Steerling Wheel

My standard cinq sporting steering wheel is like shedding when i drive it, i got to college today and my hands where black, is this just casue its cold and its leather or is mine just dodgy?

I found I had the same problem on my old Cinq' I believe it is a wear & tear thing, not helped by getting damp.

I found that brown Leather Oil that I'd bought to treat some shoes helped a lot with the flaking & did not make the grip slippy, but mayB some1 else has a better way to treat it?

put a steering wheel cover on it only 99p or so.

Got this alot, worse when it rains and your hand is wet, you could get a Sei wheel.

Yeah cento's seem to be really bad for it, mine does it on really cold mornings and evenings and almost makes the steering wheel feal 'sticky'...

eurgh nasty stuff, New steering wheel soon =D

Glad to know its not just mine, ill get a new one at somepoint till then ill wear gloves when i drive in the morning
