I would expect them to at least offer her counseling or some emotional support though.

Miscarriage is 'one of those things' that happens in life, sometimes there are reasons for it, othertimes there arent. If it happens more than, I think, 3 times then they'll start looking into it and the reasons why it happens.

In my opinion the counselling and emotional support wasnt there, but I found that everyone being really sympathetic and sorry for me/us didnt help at all.

It gets easier, but sometimes (like reading this thread) the upset returns but nowhere near as bad.

Life is a bitch sometimes.
 
I think the costs involved may be a factor too :D

Actually, that's very true. It's like if a planning application is approved and you want to argue against it, you can't unless you want to pay for a judicial review... At at least £50k a pop :rolleyes:
