As most of you know we're racing 4 classic pandas against the Orient Express in just over a weeks time with the funds going to the local Hospice & the Air Ambulance.

With the event leaving the hospice here in Belfast on Wednesday the 29th where we'll have the 2 pandas heading for Istanbul it would be great for the fun raising if we could get some newspaper or TV coverage on the day?

I've managed to get the Belfast Telegraph to send a reporter but that's about it.

Anyone able to help with friends or family that work for any of the newspapers or TV companies that would like to cover this wee story?

Jim

Don't really know much about the 'Metro' but I thought it was kinda london baised?

Jim

We get it at work. Also from their website:

Metro was launched in March 1999 as a free, colour newspaper for morning commuters. At first it was only available in London, but now commuters in 13 of Britain's major cities can pick up a free copy of Metro as they travel to work in the morning. Every weekday morning some 1.12million copies are distributed across the UK making Metro the world's largest free newspaper and the fourth biggest newspaper in the UK.

Not to be sniffed at. :)
