Which lawn you cutting? The one outside the house?

Yes and no. Its probably pretty effing freezing in Scotland atm (it certainly is in NW England), so its your choice.

its either not too bad or im getting used to the temperature up here. and ive already cut it (back garden) just fretting over if itll die in the next frost. besides i had to cut it before the mrs did as she would have scalped it with the mower on summer setting. i is off to qatar on friday you see. apparently its bloody colder than this place at night out there! dammit.

Paulie is up for lawn mowering, pay my transport costs and i will do it for free if you feed me.

Lots of knackered lawn mowers eh?

Just a bit of inside knowledge, I think B&Q will be dropping the price of lawnmowers either this fri or next to trigger early spring sales on gardening things. We have had absolutely shed loads of lawnmowers come in ready to go on sale shortly and they are clearing an area in the gardening dept. This usually happens just before something like this goes on promotion so keep an eye on the telly.

Re: I've never....................................

Hmm, to cut over the winter can't be good, but what do I know :p Saying that, our lawn is not really lawn, more moss :p - however, I will give it a good high cut once weather, and more importantly, time permits - it takes me so long :(

dry, makes no difference, my lawn is pukka, weed free, moss free, daisy and dandelion free, Manu made me an offer to be their groundsman!
did you accept? and can you come up and sort my grass out?

Nope.........................

I didn't fancy the three hour each way commute and there's no way I'd move to such a crime ridden city.

And yep, I'll come and sort yours out, are we talking about your Mrs?
