Why are there never any features on the Bravo in max power. The bravo wipes the floor with the punto for looks. The only thing i did see is that one of the editors drove one for ten minutes and the head gasket went or something like that. Why do they continually slag off the Bravo and is there an alternate mag i can buy? thanx for your thoughts.....

This months hasn't arrived yet, you can however borrow my 'Gnome tossing for beginners' magazine which I'm sure will highly interest you

Max Power is written and aimed at chavs. better off with its classier sister, Revs, or i've recently started buying Redline, which has some quality cars in.

dont most people stop buying laxpower at 17 when they can actually drive rather than dream!

to be honest i wouldnt say i have seen many cars in them sort of mags that i thought looked anything special. escorts and saxos just dont do it for me

I agree but it's still interesting reading about the monster skylines and evo's and scooby's that get featured in there, plus getting inspiration and seeing what people have done with their cars, but I agree done up nova's, civics etc. are boring.

I think its excellent that Italian cars rarely get in these teeny mags, the longer that continues the better.
Why would you want your car featured in magazines that are such shite its embarrasing to buy even if you are a McDonalds employee who wears a rounders hat!

LOL! CCC used to be a good mag back in the day, then they went all laxxer and shut down as no-one was buying it.

nige i would be really happy to get my car in the mag. show the work and effort i put in to my car can be seen by loads of ppl.

also really shocked u dont advertise in there actually in the tuning section at the back. more and more diesels end up in the mag these days

Theres only one decent car mag, and thats Mini-World.

There's no need to say anymore, as those who are/ past and present avid readers will agree!!

@nige... i understand your oppinion, but you too have a soft spot with playing around with cars! your alfa has a kit! ;)

But i have to agree that most of the mags are **** now! back in the 90's lol. they had subtly styled cars in them, as subtle was cool! and i like that...now its just stick a kit on the size of a granada on a fiesta and it will look mint! now its all jap style crap...but every now and then a smooth styled car pops back into the mag and its truely stunning!

Why on earth would anyone be-grudge the exclusion of the bravo from such publications??

The bravo is a magnificent example of a car that has such exquisite styling that little in the way of mods or cosmetic enhancements need to be made to it to make it look absolutely stunning.

The fact that there are so few about, and that they stopped making them some years ago now, makes each one all the more desirable. I love that peoples curiosity leads them to approach me to ask 'what car is it?'

If i'm not wrong then i'm sure i did see a bravo belonging to a girl in there a while ago? Mind you they didn't slag her car off too much for being a bravo so not sure just how biase they really are.

It is annoying though the number of punto's that get featured in comparism to bravo/a's. Mind you they cant be all against fiats as they modified a stilo x-box special edition over the last few issues to give away!

I have to agree that a bravo needs to pushed more....i've had mine for 3 years and still love it now!

Im sending off pics next week to all 4 mags (Maxpower, revs, redline and fastcar) Its down to preference on which one u prefer......i always bought Revs, but that has gone down hill recently and noticed this month they have slashed the price of it.

I have to say im proud of what i have done to my bravo and want to share it, so by showing it in a mag can be never a bad thing

Allan

IMO, I think it would be good to see a Bravo feature in one of the mags, it would show the Nova/Saxo modders how a real car should look. :)

Daz

i think we should get a load of bravos along to Als feature and show how big a scene there is in the car, and disperse any bad things they may have to say like with the head gasket thing in the latest issue!

of course we wouldnt want to steal Als thunder, jus give the mags a kick up the arse to show em how its done Bravo style!

can see it now, they always talk about waitin for the car to turn up, then out of nowhere 20 or so bravos appear!

ah my little world rocks!
