This is about the brakes on Jamie's old Cinq, now known as Blue2.

The brakes work very well indeed (as they should, with late type Punto GT calipers, 20 grove disks and appropriate pads). But the pedal is very mushy: pedal action is very different from the similar set ups on Blue and Orange.

The servo performa as expected on the Haynes method (pump the pedal, turn engine on pedal goes down), but doesn't noticeably go down if you don't pump the pedal (from memory, it should).

If you sit on a hill waiting for the lights, relying on the footbrake to keep the car in position, you'll find the car rolling backwards or forwards because the pedal has gone down!

No obvious leaks, servo is connected up as it should be, it doesn't feel like there is air in the system, the fluid is top spec and a few folk have, I think, bled it in the past.

Input welcome!
