General Marea ecu

I have been quoted 195.oo +vat for an ecu is this about the right price? Have sent it to ecu doctor but they could not test it for me as its a hitachi.

but they did send me a plastic lighter and fridge magnet??

Does 195.00 seem reasonable?

honestly no, i would of given you my old one but i no longer have it.

i would advise you check the scrappy's, ebay and the classifieds for anyone breaking and Marea, should only be a few quid i rekon.

dont take my word though, wait for others to advice.

Thanks for your thoughts Bulldog. trouble is I dont know if its my key code unit thats faulty or ecu

if i buy a new ecu they can by pass the key code unit so it dosent matter if its faulty!

presumably if i could by pass-mine at least I would know. I tried a new ignition sender collar so thats one link out of the chain of 3 just ecu or key code or both. dont really want to spend a lot of money on an old car

have you done continuity tests on all the wiring between "the chain of 3"?
