(excuse for my english). I have a Marea SW jtd 130 with PowerChip. I bought it by mail. The first time the seller sent me a new EEPROM. But my ECU doesn't have a replaceable EEPROM. So I sent my ECU to the seller and they updated my EEPROM. The motor was fantastic...At the present, the problems were about the clutch (slipping) because of increasing in torque.
I have two questions for you: as you know there two version of ECU by Fiat (for Marea JTD 130) with and without replaceable EEPROM?
Second, the car has a falling in power. people said me that it could be a problem with air flow meter (???) that could be dirty ? What do you think?

I've got the older 2.4Td and have also suffered from a loss of power. This only happens at about 70mph, or after holding the car on boost for a while before changing up a gear. The result is a complete lack of turbo reponse, the only was to get power back is to drop the clutch, let the revs fall to idle, and then re-engage the clutch. Is this similar to your problem? I've taken it to a couple of Fiat dealers who have had it on the diagnostic computer, but nothing came up. I'd not thought about a dirty airflow meter, but it could cause a power loss by restricting the amount of air getting through to the engine, shouldn't be too expensive to get cleaned coz it's easily accessible (on my version anyway). Let me know how you get on.
