Technical Main Beam Stalk not moving

Hello members. Can anyone help with this little problem? Not sure if it is something simple I can fix. I have a 2015 Fiat Ducato 6.0M converted at new by Hobby to a Vantana Campervan. Recently, whilst all the lights are working fine, I can’t use full beam because the stalk willl not move to either full or flash setting? Any help would be most welcome.

You could try the following. If possible remove lower column shroud, perhaps using the search function will help with the method.
Apply silicone maintenance spray in the appropriate area. Do not use WD40, as it causes swelling of plastic components.
Do bear in mind that your problem could be due to mechanical failure.
