I've too been looking at this sort of stuff Gaz and wondered if its any good. I emailed a shop on ebay in the US that were selling Fisheye lenses (I've always wanted one since my skateboarding days ;) ) and they were like £30 delivered and screw onto the filter thread.

I think I'm gonna take the plunge and see what its like.

My cameras an Olympus though ;)

i bought a set for my camera. had a quick play but can't sus out the point yet. i can't see any advantage in using one of them instead of just zooming in a bit. i've not had a proper play yet tho so don't take this as a complete review and assume they're pointless.

i've been playing with the lenses a bit more. still trying to work out the point of them tbh.

i think, whats happening - i can move the camera further away, but still focus at the cameras macro focus range (1cm) - meaning i can light the subject better.

back to the learning..
