macbook, notebook and pc

can all three connect at the same time through a single wireless router?

the staff in the local pc world (yes i know..... ) didnt have a clue, as the print on the side of the boxes (belkin/linksys/someone else) says mac os x, windows xp etc, but doesnt say is it one or the other or both together

anyone?

If they all have wireless hardware and can talk over tcp/ip (which I think they cay) yes they can talk together and share the internet.

cool, the nephew is being a pain and wants a macbook instead of a pc based laptop, just checking to make sure he wont mess it up for the other users of teh connection

Don't give in! Demand to know why Mac instead of the much cheaper, more compatible pc.. Now PCs have advanced graphic controllers and software there isn't even that reason anymore. Guess it depends how much you're willing to spend to 'look cool'

I agree, He doesn't need a MAC no one does. They don't half look pretty on fire though.

Lot of money for a white laptop.. Umbrol is very cheap these days!

Do they still only have 1 button mice? I grew up with Risc OS from Archimedes Acorn - 3 buttons - select, menu and edit. Never could be botherd with always having to find the menu or remember some 8 key combination Alt-Shift-Apple+K etc..

Now got 7 buttons and an up-down wheel

but Vaio = laptop sex! Amazing piece of kit. Could have also had a Ferrari Acer but then thats a lot of money for a red laptop with a ferrari sticker

Wish I had a vaio or a acer ferrari.. well any laptop would do.. Always pinching Bunny's to do a bit of Sofa administration of the PDC.

was think to bring my vaio notebook to skeggy, that way any and all digi photos could be collated in one go, and s/he with 8mb b/band could do the upload honours........
