Styling M3 or DTM mirrors?

my wing mirrors are rather chipped and ugly looking, im saving for a full respray so i figured rather than spray chipped plastic standard mirrors, get some new classy ones.

has anyone ever changed the mirrors on their sei?
if so how tricky is it? and would either of these mirrors fit. if not, what are the best ones to use? i want my car to be subtley modded, and thought the mirrors would be a nice little thing to change. and would make it stand out to people who know sei's!

you realise they wont fit straight on without proper baseplates?
you havent considered cup mirrors?

where can i get some base plates from?

coupe mirrors? i dunno what they look like, would they be easier to fit?

they have the cup style mirrors as a whole, with base plate, but i cant find the plate on its own. ill get the mirrors so much cheaper on fleebay but now its just finding the plates

thats the problem.you will need ot see if they even do base plates for a sei otherwise you need ot fabricate some

youll need to make some and be handy with firbreglass and filler, i used orginal outer plactic bits from my seicento screwed the mirrors onto them and fribreglassed and smoothed them off.
