Failed!:( ahhh!! again!...

failed on

front headlights aiming too low.

passenger side cv gator has spilt

nearside anti roll bar linkage

and they said 1 of your alloys need to be swap around.

they saying £85 for the whole lot.

is it worth it?

it didnt fail on loads of things so its alright because last time i paid £450 just on repairs.

thank you.

it depends if you think the list is right

in not so good mot stations i have been to they have tried to push work like that past me and there was nothing wrong with the car

cv joint gaters are a ass of a job, not difficalt, just messy

i would probably stump up the money....

I know that the cv joint has spilt because i seen it for myself..

and plus driving everytime going thru bumps or ruff roads the car makes a noise

so the nearside anti roll bar linkage broken so thats right

but am not sure if hes charging me correct?

I would think it is reasonable if it includes the re-test

retests with in 7 days is usually free (although not a given all the time)

its not a massive amount of money, if you cant do it your self in time alone what he is asking sounds reasonable

alright. thanks for that advise sam. i mean hes gonna repair the car anyways. so i think the re-test should be free.

yer your retest is normally free mate,id pay the £80 for the lot pal.Not too bad really, considerin some people spend alot more on their cars for the mot

Whats wrong with the arb linkage? If its bushes, then your probably best doing all 4 bushes. Might add another £15 to the bill, but they'll not need doing again.
Cv gaitr, pain in the ass of a job. i managed to repair mine with frame sealer (for double glazing) and it lasted years, lol.
