Firstly would like to say hello all as this is my first post on this forum!
I have been watching the forum for about a month or so now as I'm very interested in buying a Grande Punto, and this is the best place to see if there are problems/issues with specific models (I had a bad experience with a Volvo and have learnt my lesson - long story!)
I have a few questions but to start with its 130 mjet or 120 Tjet??
The brochure I have from fiat doesn't haev to 120 figures in it, but from other sites like Parkers and Auto Express it looks like the 120 is quicker off the line and higher top speed. The T-jet is also cheaper to buy and undoubtably quieter when running (how noisey is the 130?). The fuel consumption figures are very close so theres no real benefit there (although people on here have reported lower figures for T-jet), and i've been told diesel servicing and tax is more expensive. So, if this is all true, why should I get a 130 rather than the 120 and, more importantly, why do I still want a 130 and not the 120??? Head or Heart??
Cheers.
