OK Christmas is over and I have more in my bank than I expected, so i will be buying some parts for the B
Demon tweeks have Spax lowering springs 55mm and 35 mm lower, I understand that 55mm would be hard but other than that, would I have any issues with the wheels hitting the body work?

well... it never fall exactly 35. i have lowtec springs, kayaba just-a-gas shocks and there is quite space between tire and body... as much spring lower car, it's more harder and less jumpy. i saw some cars are lowered you cannot put paper between wheel and body arch, they are so hard so they do not move at all... just avoid holes in road and really slow over speed bumps.

here is with fitet 205/40/17 and original 195/55/15... front and rear lowered to -35mm...

Depends on what rim and tire your using.
Mine lowered 30mm all round using the Eibach springs and i,m using 17" rims.
215/40/17 tires.

I can easily still fit two fingers under the arch so could go even lower.

The ride is fine and doesn't feel hard, only when dropping in a pot hole I,d wish i had a little more rubber around the rim, Next time I change tires I will opt for a 45 series.

I once'd fitted an 18" rim and tire just to see if they would fit and they do, only they just fouled the inner front arch when on full lock.

My old blue B was lowered 35mm on the standard 15" rims with a 55series tire and looked good.

The red B looks lower and looks very nice, me thinks (y)

Thanks guys for the opinions,(y) gone off the idea of the 55mm option mainly due to the cost, as I would need to buy new shocks, also think it would be to hard for regular driving and would be forever dodging the holes that are on our roads.
