right read pete saying that his oil sump always hits the ground with his lowered 50mm so i was wondering if anyone knew anyway of stopping this from happenin?? plus does anyone kno if powerflow can mod exhaust systems they(different place but still powerflow) they have made as mine is already hitting speed bumps with the flexi pipe and silencer[:(!]B) cheers for any help as im still wanting to go low but looks like if i cant get this exhaust and oil sump problem sorted before i do it will never be out the garage[V]

if there's room between the arch and wheel its not low enough!

Unless you fit bigger wheels or don't drop it as far, you will have the problem. Mine's not that bad, sump only hits if you park 2 up 2 down on a kerb but is made worse by the anti roll bar which sits lower than everything else (2 1/2" clearance)- to the extent that I had to stand on the ramps at MOT time and hoik the car up by the front wing so he could get his jacks slid along under it:I

40mm won't cause a real problem, 55 - 60mm like my 2 and you'd be ok if you're careful. I've had to take the front splitter off the turbo today as there was less than 3 fingers of clearance under it.

MUST chop the bump stops down if you lower the car though.
