Technical lowering costs?

Hi all!
Ive just ordered a set of Apex lowering springs -30mm,should be in my paws in 5days!,and was wondering what to expect to be paying to get 'em fitted?,i know a few may say D.I.Y,but i aint got the time,tools or know-how!:I,also got a steering wheel boss(momo),how the bleeding hell do you get the standard wheel off!![!],and why i was at motorworld with my plastic fantastic[^] i ordered a k&n 57i,are they easy enough to fit?,cheers guys and gals!

for springs i was quoted £90 per wheel!! what a load of arse so i did it myself. Its easier than u would expect to do. specialy the rear! its just literally sliding out the old and sliding in the new.

K&N is easy to fit

a local garage has just quoted me £75 to fit the springs,dose that sound ok?,i seen the link that shows you(Bushboy) changing your springs and it looks easy peasy!,but i dont have spring compressors,or a vice,and they always look a lot easier in the pictures!,and ive been told the k&n is easy so defo gonna have a bash at that,afore mentioned garage wanted £30!![!]

i've not fitted a K&N, but i put a pipercross on mine and it took less than 10 minutes, no probs at all

any induction kit will be easy to fit. hardest part is raging all the original airbox out!

£75 for fitting lowering springs sounds about right. When I lowered mine it was something like £140 in total. (£70 for springs and £70 for fitting).

well make sure its acutally £75 and no £75 per wheel... thats what i thought.. was gonna pay £90 f0or the lot and then he turns round and goes..."u do realise its £90 per wheel".. i was gutted heh

Cheers!,well the springs cost £66 so if it is only £70 to fit the lot,and not £70 per wheel[:0],then i guess im on a winner!,i was happy with the quote,but just wanted to check with you guys first!,thanks!

if its £75 the lot go for it don't forget could be + vat but still a good deal if its per wheel tell them to go and boil their head. it shouldn't take more than a couple of hours so if they charge £30 an hour sounds about right, i am gessing its £30 hour because they said that for the filter and a lot of places have a mimim charge of an hours labour.
