General Lowering a Cinq, Best Springs??

Hi there reacently aquired a yellow cinq sporting off my sister, at first all i could think of was selling the thing but now im loving driving it! Going to lower it and wonderd what springs most people go for and what drop 40/40, 60/40, 60/60?. I do want the thing fairly low but dont want it undriveable, got a mate who an ace at anything car wise so no problem there so just need to know whats springs to go for and where is cheapest.

I have -40mm springs from www.fastfiat.com [£67 inc delivery and vat] they were easy to fit and give a great ride

I think you can go lower but you would have to cut the bumpstops, you would also get lots of scrapage underneath

alryt mate iv just ordered 60mm springs from g-max and cost me about a ton for all 4!! look on larkspeed for better prices etc mate

you mean my mint GTR with 1700km's on the clock it is sat at the docks right now

But..... it picked up damage in transit so waiting for insurance to be worked out

iv been thinking about lowering my cinq its 899cc whats best to go for iv seen some springs 40mm and 55mm easy to fit?

Oh yes they do! remember I bought repaired and sold on 4 other cars to be able to afford this including 2 Esprit V8's and it has taken me over 7 years in total and 6 skipped holidays to get the money together.
The R34 was never meant as a keeper just a money earner, but the way the market has gone, by the time i finally get my hands on it i will be lucky to break even

Welcome to forum, there is not a penalty for stirring hornets nest, ten out of ten.

The sporting has been dropped a little already.

Cool air intake, free exhaust, or more overlap on cam may be more fun options. You gotta tell insutance company >>£ sorry...

Last quote i got it was for £650! With all the mods inc turbo
but cant remember which company it was with, the company i usually use wont touch modified cars.
