So the mk2 failed it's mot on lower ns wishbone bush this week :(
I've decided to replace both compleat wishbones for peace of mind and to save removing the old bushes.
I have the new parts ready to fit tomorrow, are there any tips or things I should look out for?
Cheers in advance Jake.

Working on the floor the arb is a right pain. A couple of extra jacks helps line things up like the ball joint and getting the arb into position when refitting, just take your time getting the screws restarted or they will cross threads. Tapping sideways with a rubber mallet helps get the arb the last few mm. The scissor jack in the boot has a slot which will engage the arb reasonably securely at the thin end. I found it easier to do the centre first and the outers after. As always proper axle stands, chocks and more chocks and tracking will need checking. Did one recently and the tracking was perfect - didn't even charge me for looking - nice people.

pinch bolts normally need seven bells knocking out of them so are rendered useless
they should be changed for new anyway really but if careful are reusable

pinch bolt=(holds the balljoint in the hub)
