So I bought my '02 Punto in August, and its run just about like a gem.
Pretty soon after I got it, it started making a few funny noises and putting a few icons on the dashboard, and who am I to diagnose it when there are people fit for the job on here:
The brake fluid (a red ! in a triangle) icon comes on if ever I am on a hill or going round a steep corner, yet the brake fluid is completely full and brakes seem fine.
The back end creaks like a gooden if ever any weight is in the back, it sounds like metal is banging together, which is never a good sign. I've been told this is my back suspension being stiff due to the front being used more..?
The windscreen wipers have been known not to work when on intermiddently, and have given up wiping at all when i spray the windscreen, i have to put them on manually. The linkage is being replaced in a few days due to one copping out completely whilst I was doing 70 in the rain, but I'm not sure this will fit the tempramentality.
I've also been told my earth is corroding, as sometimes when I brake, my indicator comes on, and when i brake and indicate my brake light flashes instead. Whoops
Oh, and my seatbelt NEVER retracts itself and I'm always shutting it in the door. Other than that its a lovely car
