Multipla Loss of power

Sorry for the delay in replying. Yes, I did clean the MAF with carb cleaner. I eventually got the fault diagnosed as the throttle position sensor (TPS), which is a potentiometer attached to the throttle pedal. I bought a replacement then realised that it was going to be a sod to fit, as the whole pedal block has to come out, apparently. However, someone suggested I unplugged the white multiplug (under dash in passenger footwell) and plug it back in again, and hey presto, no more problems. Must be like rebooting a computer. No idea why it works, but it does.

I wish someone had told me that four months ago!
