Technical Looking into PIC programming to decode ecu immob

at the mo im having a right ball ache with my red sei, i need a decoded ECU but dont want to pay the going price as they seem to hit over £100 on ebay

my other step was for mkcritch chip but he doesnt reply so my last resort was a chip2race chip but thats a crock of ****e as they set the limiter to 5k and the car has **** all power as its bouncing of the limiter in every gear

ive managed to get my hands on a program called kill immo v1.1 and fiat immo repair v1.1 they are simple tools which reset the data in the correct places to make them virgin ecu again so hence no chipped key needed.

now does anyone know what chip they are in the ecus as i will need to order some to try this out.

ordered a usb pic programmer from ebay comming from china so hopefully by time that gets here ill then be familiar with flashing and reading the ecu chip to make immobilzer free ecu chips for punto, seicento and cinquecento meaning no need for a chipped key

anyone else looked into this before?

right now know they use 27C512 as chip type 28pin just looking for a dumped file to play with

P.rogrammable I.nterface C.ontroller is an mcu/processor type thing.
you need a serial eprom programmer (93c46 24c08 etc etc)
non of the data (fueling ignition advance etc) are held in this chip (i.c.) its in the 27cXXX serial flash chip.

got load of backups, can read and disable immo on the fire engine peice of **** now and my reader is a usb one

Jeez dude, if you really have this info I'd be very very interested in it too. did you get the base config map (sensor & injector control values) as well as the ignition & fueling maps?

If hes got a raw dump of the file then i guess so. it will contain maps and such and they must be in a common format that should be easy enough to read... otherwise performance chips wouldnt exsist/work
