General Looking for a 4x4 ?

There is an average white Panda 4x4 on ebay now at £51 (reserve not met).
It's in Shildon (wherever that is ) and it's reference number is 4528673140.
Looks tidy.

The car is located not far from me, so I have mailed the guy for better info as what is listed is not very helpfull at all.

Well this was the reply I got: -

I asked:
"Is that a recent photo I notice 2003 on the photo date. Whats the current milage. has it and tax or test left. When you say it needs attention to breaks springs and welding can you be specific please. Thanks Darren"

I got:
photo was last week no it as no tax or test on spring brocken on rear brakes hand brake 6inch by 6inch on o.s.f and n.s.f ok

Looking at the sellers history:
there are pictures from the same camera and the date on those is in excess of 2 years older than they aught to be - so the Panda picture is probably recent.

However - has anyone got a source of rear leaf springs for the 4x4?
Aren't good ones about as common as rust free doors?

I think you'd probably need to go and see it to make a good judgement (and see if the transmission is OK too), unless it sells for beans.
