I totally agree Butcher. RAWB, You can not really talk and say it looks crap as I think many people would rather have my car than your banger
being 17 I can only do certain things to my car due to insurance and just expected people to say how they think the car looks and give some other ideas I would be able to do to the car without having a big affect on insurance.

Disagree that the evo looks better from the front or in any way for that matter but it does have a nicer interior than the GP.

I reckon get it lowered to reduce the alloy/wheel arch gap. Thats what im doing anyway, think it would have the same effect on yours. As for insurance being botherd, I dont know as mine are s***.

I'm an Evo owner and ill sum up.
Evo
- Rear lights look better
- Interior is better
- Better selection of alloys
Grande
- Simplistic smooth 'Maserati' styling
- Front looks better
- Colour-coded bumpers look better
To be honest there is not alot of differences between the two. To me the Evo is not an 'all new model' it's in effect a Grande Punto MK2.
- Pretty much the same engines
- Similar styling
- Similar driving style
- Similar options
I'm an Evo owner and ill sum up.

- Rear lights look better
- Interior is better
- Better selection of alloys
Grande
- Simplistic smooth 'Maserati' styling
- Front looks better
- Colour-coded bumpers look better

I was looking to get it lowered but it seems to look ok now as the car has sort of lowered a bit since I have had the wheels changed and running on them for a few weeks. Will put a new pic on tomorrow from the side so you can see how it has lowered a bit and what the wheels look like from side on.... Sure to get some more people slagging it off

Being 17, you just wouldn't know the advantage of driving an old car. As you guide the car, but we drive it without any silly assistant.
But RAWB probably paid for his own car .....
Again to what blu said ~ It is just an EVO with alloys, which are again not to me taste. I recon you should spend loads of time making a really clean car!

Well people always seem to ask for opinions on here and then argue and get all defensive when opinions are offered. I come back to my statement thats its basically a standard car, we all like fiats as i said so what do you expect other than:
1. I like the wheels
or
2. I don't like the wheels
Oh and calling a pea-shooter a pea-shooter is not slagging your car off, it IS a pea-shooter and it looks like a exhaust trim rather than a proper exhaust which is never cool, no matter who or where your from.

Don't think they match your car to be honest, so to your original question "Look any better?" the answer is... No. Think they'd match a corsa B with a different colour boot than rest of the car, with a universal halfords exhaust hanging off the back and windscreen washers with Built in LEDs, u heard right they do make them... just dont buy them because they do make them. If thats the way yours mods are going to be going down, i wouldn't post a thread with a title so open to criticism because there will probably be a **** load. My mates now stuck with the nickname ripspeed, word to the wise. Seat covers with ///RS stitched on. So not Cool!

Sam, quite honestly I don't care what car I have. I take more pride in mine and keep it cleaner than your car ever will be. The fact that I have taste in cars and know a damn sight more than you ever will also puts me on an advantage, but before this thread turns into an argument I have voiced my opinion and I think it's perfectly fine, it looks ****.

Im glad you paid for your car, but im unhappy to tell you that you made a very poor choice. Having driven one, they die at 4.5k rpm, about as gutless as a gutted fish. Suspensions was soft, the tyres made you wallow across the road with no real feedback from the steering in a whole.
But still, if I had the choice to have either the Punto Evo, or a Mk1 Punto... I would have the Evo Punto then sell it and buy something nicer.

Thanks for your useful opinions that I wont bother putting into place. I could not give a s*** it you kept it cleaner what do you want a MBE from the queen? I clean my car regually which is normally most weekends.
Regards to your taste in cars you must of had an off day when you bought your car as its not something special and it just a clean car that I would not want to be seen dead in!
I dont think you have driven the semi auto one so you can not actually comment on that and I am glad you would not drive an Evo as I wouldnt want to be driving the same car as a **** like you!
