London Marathon 2006 entry

I have received my entry into the London Marathon 2006

I have been given my place as last year I had a major accident and couldn't walk for 3 months, let alone run.So my entry was rolled over to 2006

I am still unable to run !!
Although I am seeing my consultant tommorow about more surgery.

So do I walk it all, for charity
or give up my entry to someone who can use it,
London Marathon have a reserve list of entrants

I may be able to jog a mile or so by April next year,but I don't know

I reckon you get fit to run (if possible) and do it! You can't miss it 2 years in a row Im yet to receive an entry, but don't think i'll get one this year....

Thats the problem I can't roll my entry over for another year
If I can run I will do it, but is it worth going there just to walk 26miles?

If you have applied and haven't heard they take the money either this or next week I believe

I probably wouldnt want to walk the 26miles. Its just a question of how likely it is you'll be able to run I suppose.

Got the 'Sorry your application was not successful' magazine today Oh well, always next year.

Well I have been told I am having more surgery in January now.:bang:

No London Marathon for me this year either

Ah well Im kind of glad because ive not been running for that long lol. It'll give me chance to do some smaller marathons and train properly before going in for the kill...

Reckon you'll do it year after?
