Lockwood's black 1.4L 206 "Cheryl"

Introduction

So I've been holding off posting on here for a while, thinking that I'd be purchasing a GP soon enough.

Circumstances have since changed and I'm investing that money in a Masters degree (not as fun admittedly!)...

Anyway, here's my pride and joy I've had since last year. Nothing special but there's been quite a few great 1st car memories in it!

It's a lovely nippy thing, and I've kept it lovingly maintained since the day I bought it.

...Here's a few pictures from over the last 12 months:

Hadn't messed much with it, but finally got round to putting my mudflaps on today, it looks awesome - especially in person...but maybe I'm a bit biased ;)

Thinking of painting my front calipers red soon, but I think I'll leave it there.

Any other 206 lovers on here? Wouldn't mind seeing your ideas/mods!

Lockwood,
Tomashhh! You know you need an Italian Stalion in your life, sell the 206 and get a Punto Mk2b!

I'm gonna chalk it down to coincidence haha, I'm not stalking you online I promise! Can't see the link, Autotrader links don't work for me on here for some reason. You off back to Chester for your Masters? Glad to see it's on your agenda haha!

Ps. Cheryl is looking clean!

Haha whatever you say ;)

Yeah it's a White T-Jet, only 13k mileage, £5,500 and it's at Peugeot Bradford. You should go for it if you have the wonga!

Nah, university of Leeds mate. Will have to see you again sometime, catch up, have a beer!

Cheers, she needs a wash actually!

So I decided to do my calipers, which was not that difficult to do.

Bought the red paint from Halfords, which had many good reviews online. Used a bottle jack to get the tire off and keep it raised whilst I painted. The calipers themselves were rather dirty and rusty, but using a wire brush on the end of a power drill worked a treat. The paint was a perfect bright red colour, and after 4 coats (taking 20 minutes to dry each time) the first one is now done:
