I had the door card off the drivers door of my 60 the other day, and realised how bloody easy it is to break into, all you need is a hooked piece of wire about 200mm long... has anyone done any little things to make it somewhat more difficult to get into?

Cheers,

Matt

True that it is **** easy to break into, the most easiest way is to crowe bar the door open from the top, the locks give way and eventually the door will open. I know because some bastard did this to my car, he ended up bending the top of the door and caused the paint to crack where the metal bent and broke the locks, i woulda preferred to have had the window broken, least that way all you need to replace is the glass! But because of this tosser i had to replace the entire door!! The only thing i can suggest is to buy yourself a decent alarm system so that the f*ckers cant even get near it without hearing a warning beep telling them to f*ck right off. A cat 1 would reduce your car insurance too so its a worthwhile investment. There are too many Twocing scum out there to not have an alarm these days, its simply not worth the risk. And if you can stick a video camera facing your car cos that puts em right off, even if its a dummy camera. I got a camera fixed to my house which faces the car all the time so people always think twice before doing anything to it.
