I cant get mine to turn in the neck of the tank 
First time I tried to fill the car it took ages to get the cap off and I couldn't get it back on properly so I bought a new cap from Halfords. Now that one won't turn in the neck. What am I doing wrong?
I know the cap itself is ok, the key turns smoothly enough when it isnt on the car, but once I put the cap back onto the tank I cant budge the key at all, any ideas please?
